Car Injury, Personal Injury, and More
Some of our patients arrive at Southwest Chiropractic Center in Lincoln after a car injury, an accident on the job, or an accident at home. These types of accidents frequently cause whiplash, back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, or pain in other regions of the body. Our chiropractor will carefully examine each
patient to determine the exact nature of the injury so that the course of treatment can be determined. We accept the majority of insurance providers and are prepared to work with patients who have been involved in workmens' compensation cases or in automobile accidents.
Lincoln Chiropractic Care, Acupuncture, and Physical Therapy
Our chiropractor uses a series of traditional chiropractic treatments and adjustments to properly align the spine. This involves hands-on adjustments to the spinal column, generally a pain-free procedure that produces immediate relief. When patients are suddenly hurt in an accident, the entire spinal column can be negatively affected, causing the vertebrae and discs in the back and neck to be jolted out of their rightful position. The pain that this causes can range from mildly troublesome to extremely painful. Spinal adjustments can help with this pain regardless of severity, as the adjustment returns the back and neck to proper alignment.
Back pain and neck pain may also occur in patients who were never in an accident, but who are suffering from degenerative disorders or arthritis, for example. Chiropractic treatment can also relieve or reduce this type of pain with great success and aid patients in enjoying full mobility again.
Acupuncture, another one of our services, is a traditional Chinese method of healing in which electrical stimulation is applied to areas causing pain, as in the case of neck pain and back pain. Typically, the acupuncture is done via electrodes that emit a gentle pulse of electrical stimulation, but traditional acupuncture needles are used in some cases as well.
Physical therapy is another important mode of treatment here at our practice, and we custom tailor the program for each patient. This type of therapy often involves special exercises that can be done at home, which will assist with strengthening the muscles and aid in healing.
We treat each patient as an individual, ensuring that the customized care you receive here will put you on the path to wellness as quickly as possible!
We aim to build lasting relationships with our patients and to exceed their expectations for great chiropractic care. Count on our team to listen to your goals and concerns. We will address your issues and answer all of your questions. You will feel secure in our abilities and confident in our care.

The Science Behind Chiropractic Care
Patients who seek out chiropractic care in Lincoln do so for a variety of reasons, they are seeking help with alleviating back or leg pain caused by an injury or trauma, avoiding and reducing headaches and migraines, reducing the symptoms of carpal tunnel, and a variety of other issues.
By aligning the spine and correcting issues with posture, balance, and correcting their proprioception, which affects issues within the inner ear and affects our spatial awareness, chiropractors can help reduce joint pain and soreness in the surrounding muscle and tissue.
Because chiropractic care is non-invasive, it is often seen as a preferred alternative to medication or invasive surgery because it can help many patients find solace from their joint and muscle pain.
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a form of health care concentrating on the location and removal of severe form of spine and nerve stress, a condition that puts pressure on nerves, unbalances your body, lowers your resistances to disease, and ewaken you: the vertebral complex.
Chiropractic has helped millions of people recover from sickness, disease and disability and minimized the use of drugs and surgery in their lives.
